PM Kisan Yojana 19th Installment: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar next month in February. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave this information on Friday and told that during this time the Prime Minister will distribute honor money to the farmers, which will be under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
According to the report, Prime Minister Modi can attend a program organized in Bhagalpur on February 24. During this, he can discuss the historic reforms made in the agriculture sector and the efforts to make agriculture more productive and diversified through these reforms.
Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan praised the hard work of the farmers of Bihar and mentioned the features of the cultivation of special crops like Makhana and Litchi on the fertile land here. He told that to make the cultivation of Makhana more accessible, it has been decided to do it with machines, so that the farmers can get convenience.
Along with this, the Union Minister also announced that the central government has fixed the minimum support price (MSP) for pulses like urad, tur and lentil, which will prove to be an important step for the farmers of Bihar.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan also reacted to the upcoming elections in Delhi and Bihar. He said, “Now elections are fought and won on the issue of development. BJP’s victory in Delhi is certain, while Bihar elections are still far away.”
Earlier, Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended a program organized in Samastipur on the birth anniversary of former Bihar Chief Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee Karpoori Thakur. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also attended the program. However, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had to cancel his Bhagalpur tour due to bad weather.
