Sources indicate that Timberlake had been partying with friends at the ‘American Hotel’ in Sag Harbor before the incident. He was reportedly on his way to a friend’s house when he was stopped by the police.

This incident marks a significant embarrassment for the 43-year-old artist, who has faced legal issues in the past. Notably, in 2003, Timberlake was arrested in Tennessee for public indecency.

Timberlake is set to appear in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on July 26 to address the charges.

The arrest has disappointed many of his fans. Timberlake is widely recognized for his hit songs such as “Selfish,” “Cry Me a River,” and “My Love,” as well as his roles in popular films like “The Social Network” and “Bad Teacher.”

The impact of this incident on Timberlake’s career remains uncertain.
