Jio and Airtel launch new offers: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recently ordered all telecom companies to launch calling and SMS recharge plans. Its purpose was to provide cheap recharge plans to those users who do not use data. Especially, this can prove to be a good move for feature phone users. After this order of TRAI, Jio and Airtel have launched calling and SMS plans for their customers, so that users can get the facility of calling and SMS without data.
Airtel’s calling and SMS recharge plans
Airtel has introduced plans of Rs 499 and Rs 1959.
Rs 499 plan: This plan comes with a validity of 84 days. In this, users get unlimited calling and 900 free SMS. Apart from this, in this plan, users also get the facility of Apollo 24/7 membership and free hello tune for 3 months.
Rs 1959 plan: This plan offers a validity of 365 days i.e. a full year. Users get unlimited calling and 3600 free SMS in this plan, as well as 3 months of Apollo 24/7 membership and free hello tune are also provided.
Jio’s calling and SMS recharge plans
Jio has also introduced plans of Rs 458 and Rs 1958.
Rs 458 plan: This plan offers unlimited calling and 1000 free SMS with a validity of 84 days. Apart from this, in this Jio plan, users also get free access to Jio Cinema and Jio TV.
Rs 1958 plan: This plan offers 365 days validity, along with unlimited calling and 3600 free SMS. Apart from this, free access to Jio Cinema and Jio TV is also provided.
Which plan is better?
Both companies have introduced attractive offers for their customers, but if you are looking for just calling and SMS, then Airtel’s Rs 499 plan and Jio’s Rs 458 plan are both great options. Both Airtel and Jio also have plans with 1 year validity, which provide calling and SMS facilities to users for a long time.
